If you had a week to go hunt anywhere in the US for a week. Where would you want to hunt ?

I'd want to detect where Mike from MI stores all his goodies - just for fun

Actually hoping I get more than a week to detect in the ghost town I have been researching. Has to be lots of old 1800s coins there. Earliest plat map I have found for the place is 1874 - it was a logging town with a couple saw mills, a train running next to the town, school, hotel, general store and other places not shown on drawings. No mention made of where the church was so looking forward to finding its location along with the town hall. Wonder where the bar was - can't have lumberjacks getting money and no place to spend it.

Other than that I'd like to do some Civil War battle area detecting.

over to England and search for coins from the days when Christ walked the Earth. I plan to go in the future!

Just watch out for the two killer weenie dogs and the guy with the gun! :starwars:
