Question for John-Edmonton/Uncle Willy!!!

Hey all powerful Gods of Garrett, I am aware that they claim that the 1350 DD coil will not work with the 2500, is there a difference or is it just a sales deal... I have both the 1350 and the 2500 and before a purchased the later of the two I picked up a DD for the 1350. I don't use the 1350 anymore(thinking of selling) so I have no use for the DD. I haven't tried it on the 2500 but would like to have one for it, will they work, will it go haywire, or ???? Thanks for the time and Gods of Detecting melt that Minnesota Snow. -Todd H. G.T., MN

Both machines operate at 7.2 kHz, but the plugs are not compatible.

I'm certainly not a God of Garrett like John and Bill, but I can tell you that the GTP and GTI coils are not interchangable.

Two different animals. Coils are not copmpatible.

I kind of figured but hey that means there is a 1350 (1 1/2 year old) for sale and a GTP 1350 DD Coil for sale also.... thank you guys for the info.... Todd
