Question for Monte--White's 6B coils

Sven

Well-known member
Hi,

Wondering what other White's models does the 6B coils work with besides the 5000/D Series 2 that it was made for?

Thanks

Sven

perhaps this will help.

Acording to Whites, the proper coil for a 5000/D was a "B4" & a "B5" stamped coil. No others were correct. Now there is mention of them using the "B6" coil on the "series 2". It's before my time, so perhaps series 2 referrs to your 5000/D series 2 ??

"B6" stamped coils were used on the, "series 2" thru "series 3", "pro units", and the "Classics" ending up on the last use of them on the Classic I SL, & the Classic II SL. 6B coils came in, 4", 8", 10", and 15".

They were "F" coils made in a "BM256" (10"). This loop is interchangeable with "6B".

Mr. Bill
