Question For Monte

Did you miss my question posted below, ( Thursday ) on the Tejon?
Thanks, Jerry

<STRONG>"In the Tesoro product comparision chart the Tejon is given one star for competition hunting. Does this concern the recovery speed of the detector, or is it the weight and balance? ( Note that even the Cortes and Lobo ST are given 2 stars in this category)."</STRONG>.... Jerry, I had just about completed a response a few moments ago when I realized that I was trying to justify <EM>'why'</EM> Tesoro did that when, in all honsety, it just doesn't make sense to me, either. So, I deleted that post and gave this simple reply.
It would seem logical that they would suggest the models with a frequency shift to be better for competition hunting, thus all models would have fewer 'stars' than the Conquistador

Just an addition to your comment about the Tejon in competition hunts. Les used the Tejon at the AMDA Hunt in Idaho last month and out of the 4 of us, he beat us on coin count and "token" count. He ended up with 2 top 40 tokens plus a dozen of the other tokens. He did quite well. He used the Tejon stock coil.
