Been watching many videos on the Warrior and must say, very impressive. I live down the street from you in North Georgia, Highly Mineralized Red Clay Capital of the world..It will beat the best detector out there...Would like to purchase this detector along with a couple coils....I have yet seen a video of the Warrior performed in hot soil like Keith Southern demonstrated with the Gold model...12 inches on a nickle in his red clay was outstanding depth in this soil...

You can more than likely expect the same detectability results with any of the DeepTech units in GA's red clay soil.
Think Keith had three DT's he tested.
Think I remember Richard also lived in Dallas Ga not far away from Keith. Recall buying and picking up an 8" Tesoro coil from Richard when he lived in Dallas back in 2006.
Then moving just down the road from him a year later. Too bad didn't have a DT back then when I was hunting for a detector that could handle the ground there. I would have been more inclined
to stick with the hobby while living there. ..... and if the ground wasn't hard as rock at times. At least I found a musketball and a trigger in the woods behind our house.

[size=large]The major difference is going to be the operating frequency of the 2 detectors, the Gold at 25 kHz and the Warrior at 18 kHz. There are some internal differences in the electronics but the ground balance pot and associated circuitry seem to be the same. (GB in all reality is a disc. circuit) With a higher operating freq., the Gold will be more sensitive to mineralization and have less stability while the 18 kHz of the Warrior should handle the soil better. I haven't hunted any red clay as hot as yours in this area with the DeepTechs but the red clay around here doesn't present a problem. I was able to dig 2 Williams Cleaner bullets and a 3 ringer today in ground that was a red clay mix. (plowed over the years), at approximately 8-10" on each with the Gold. The audio was a high, soft sound but I was sure they were deep non-ferrous targets. My experience under the same circumstances is that the Warrior will give an audio response that is louder and more defined. This is solely my experience, and please appreciate the fact that yours could be different.. Richard[/size]

It's a good machine, should make an excellent relic machine and handle most ground conditions.
Notice the frequency is similar to Tesoro's Tejon. Their top end relic and coin, jewelry machine. But, the Warrior has features
that the big boys say Tesoro should have, to make it a much better detector, more desirable detector-Get the Warrior.
