Do any of you hunt in all metal to get better depth? I plan to hunt a spot that has lots of deep gold rings and i want to get all the depth i can.
Thanks
Corey

iv had 3 TS and.they are great fresh water detectors . i always ran mine with Dis on just enough to still pick up nickles.that will save you digging a lot of junk like nails and wire / bobbi pins and still get the gold.i didnt notice any diff in depth from disc on or off.

you might try lower then that as i get alot of gold below the nickle on my edge, small gold ring hit in the foil range alot

My discrimination is set on 2 or 2+. When the signal breaks up at all and is not a continuous solid beep, I leave it. I have dug a lot of those and they are rusted pieces of iron. Now I know. I find nickels. Today I found a small 14K ring and last time I found two rings and a 24" gold chain. I don't think I am missing much gold with those settings. If so...I'm pleased with what I am getting. Jim
