Question On 1200 Series 10.5 Spider Coil

I picked up one used but when you pass a coin under it, it double beeps and when I try to pinpoint with it, it does not do anything. The 8" stock coil works fine........Bad Coil?:confused:
 
If you can give me the coil number I may have one you can have just pay the freight......But I need a number I am not familiar enough to say for sure it's a 1200 series coil. Send me your e-mail I will pic it up so you can take a look at it.

The "500 Series" were VLF/TR detectors, ala late 70's and early 80's, at around 4kHz.:fisher:
