Question on Explorer 11 and LCD screen

Johnny

I sent my expl. 11 in because the LCD screen would freeze when I got in heavy trash. Sandy at Minelab said that I had to many programs stacked on top of each other. She said that you should delete the first program before you make another one. How do you delete the first one and not stack the programs up. Please step by step.

I feel what you need to do is when you want to change your pattern you go to select and the top one will say clear which you should do. Now once it is clear you go to the pattern you have saved and load it up. If you don't clear the screen first and check any other program you will be stacking one on top of another. Now if you are just going by the check marks to accept or the X to reject you have to decide what you want to accept and reject as some will stack on top on one another. If you check coin you will get coins as it say, but if you check screw caps you will lose the zinc penny and IHs, This goes for pull tabs too as you will lose the nickles. Now if you want to put a check on jewelry you are stacking a accept on jewelry, but you have where it will read X out as you rejected the pull tabs where jewelry will read. Just remember to click the clear in the select when changing to a different program and use edit more if you are making a program to accept or reject certain items.
