question on goldquest ss

Hi folks, I don't think I've never posted on this forum but I do look in from time to time. My friend Randy Seden told me about the goldquest and I was wondering if anyone here can tell me how they've done using it in prospecting for nuggets, i.e. such as depth on nuggets and how it fares on hot rocks. I'm afraid I'm not much of a technical guy but I'd appreciate some feedback if you can spare it. Thanks.

hi ray,
i bought a goldquest in the autumn ,and have used it in the north wales(uk) goldfields with great effect!hot rocks that used to hassle my vlf goldmaster are TOTALLY ignored by the pi.the machine is BRILLIANT!
i found a half-gram nugget within five minutes of scanning bedrock cracks.all you hear is threshold until a metal target is detected.
the area i prospect in is highly mineralised with stacks of pyrite, galena ,blende, etc.
BUY IT!!!

Hi Phil, hey that's a great report. Never knew there was gold on that big island you live on. I like to go out to the Mojave desert here in so. California. I've had some good luck finding nuggets in the past with my VLF machines but the gold is gettin' harder to find in shallow ground and amidst all the hot rocks, hence the need for a good PI detector that won't cost me my life savings!
And Mr. Bill, thanks for posting the air test report on the Goldsquest. That gives me a bit of an idea of the depth that I can expect by using either coil. I think I've made up my mind to get one hopefully before summer comes.
