Question on infinium coils

Johnny

New member
I'm am going to get the infinium in about 2 weeks and is anyone used the 8" coil. And can you get the 8" in staid of the 10x14 when you buy the detector?? Or is mono or DD coil , what is the best.

I only use the 8" mono, and find that it works well for coins and jewelry. It gets gold rings at 10-14 inches. The large DD coil is a little harder to pinpoint with. The 8' coil pinpoints off the center or the outer edge. Ask s dealer what he can do about getting the 8" mono instead of the 10 x 14 inch coil.

Thinks John I'll ask him about the 8". Maybe they can just send the 8 not the 10x14, we will see. But if they want I'll going to get the 8".
