Question on Overload Signals...

We all know the Fors are sensitive machines and give overload signals easily. If you get an overload, you're supposed to raise the coil slightly for a more accurate reading. I'm wondering what "good" things you've found that initially gave an overload signal. So far it's been nothing but aluminum cans for me.

Half dollar, silver Washington, a few wheats, clad. You don't want to know how many machines had missed them while detecting.

but still covered with dirt..,,

Wayne, I love finding those! Di2 or 3? What settings and coil do you use relic hunting? I'm debating between the stock and the large coil for the open grassy hills, and the stock coil for the uneven old soybean field and cow pastures. To bad you couldn't join us in Kentucky this weekend!

Old homesite, lots of iron thumps. 11" coil, Di3. Unless there's very little trash I stay in Di3. In other words, I always use Di3 ;)
