Question on the XY Screen

Please someone post when you know if the XY mode is still available. That mode is extremely useful to me to eliminate highly conductive bottle caps, which otherwise appear to be quarters. In XY mode it is easy and obvious to see the difference. I hope it is still there...

As I mentioned in another post, the XY VISUALIZATION option has been retained (although still not listed as an official option as the manual shows) and some addtional functionality has been added . . . . . testing shows that it has some improved usefullness in the field . . . . . several uses are covered in the book.

One thing regarding ferrous bottlecaps . . . . the new SILENCER function (improved) will eliminate the rusted bottle caps entirely when set at "4" and make a distinctive "crackling" sound when set at "3"

ADVANCED function was maintained, gnd history has been replaced by Multi TID, however, the XY function has been maintained and improved by the addition of an indication of VDI, right at the top of the display, thank XP for doing so, I had thought it would be a good thing and they did it, thank you again Alain.:clapping:

They also made it to where you only have to access the advanced mode once and then it stays on even if you leave the options mode to change settings. I like it.
