question on tithing

dobbie

New member
should I be calculating the dollar amount for my items found and tithe a percentage of that? i was just thinking if finds fall under what God wants us to tithe.

I would only tithe on the money you rec when they are sold, because right now you really don't know their value unless you are talking about the coins you find! Do what the Lord leads you in your heart to do.....move by the Holy Spirit's quickening!

Here is a little story about something that God did, when my brother, Larry, and I went to a revival in the country church we both used to attend! The family visiting had gone through some really hard times and when a collection was taken for preaching the Lord led me to give above what I was going to and He led my brother to give more than he was going to do! It was like we were arguing with God in our minds and He Spiritually moved for us to give all of what we had with us! God moves in mysterious ways and provides for His own....sooo I guess their needs were met that night!

God Bless!
Betty
