Question --Sea hunter mark 2 PI

I have the Garrett Sea hunter mark 2 PI -- Now to the question -- Its has head phones with no external speaker-- is there away of disconnecting the Head phones and hooking up a speaker for sounds while land hunting ?-- Thanks -- Graw

Not really, but try wearing the headset around your neck...... however, I would call Garrett and ask about a solution. You may be able to get another plug and wire up a speaker too your liking.

Check at Radio Shack or an electronics store. I think they have external speakers that plug into the jack on the detector. Don't know if Garrett supplies such or not. One could rig one up by taking the wire to an old set of phones, cutting it to length and wiring a small speaker to the cut end and mounting it on the tector wherever. Why not use the phones for land hunting?
