When down loading new program into my XP should bothe the remote and head phones be on? Thank you

I did mine a while ago, but if I recall just the remote and it will prompt you when to do the back/head phones.

Yep like H D said just follow the prompt, and also make sure everything is fully charged
before you begin the download.

If loading a program or mode, NO only the remote needs to be on. The only time you need both is when "upgrading" to a new version.
