when i turn on my Quattro it runs through it's little music montage. Then instead of hearing a smooth threshold hum i get a signal usually between 11-13 like there is something under the coil. It only does this with the stock coil. When i use my 8" i get a smooth threshold. I have cleaned the battery posts with acetone and removed the coil cover and cleaned as well. The results are the same.... Any suggestions

Have you had the coil in any water?

If you have a coil cover on there, take it off and clean the cover and the coil, dry them off, leave the cover off for a minute and recheck the noise cancel and all the settings. Sometimes when I get salt water beteen the cover and the coil, it causes falsing. Try that, and good luck.
