Hello again everyone. Tried to post this the other evening, but didnt go through. I found this first peice in an old farm field. My first thought was that it had to be a triger guard off of an old musket. but a friend of mine tells me that its possibly farm junk. Does any one know what model, or if it even is a triger guard? And yes that is my signiture, but it was broken previously, luck to find both peices close together. <img src="http://www.findmall.com/gallery/albums/userpics/12272/ebeb01.jpg" alt="" />The next item i found down about 6"aaahhhhhh. sorry dreamin for a second. A friend of mine wants me to research this for him. We know that its a Smith & Wesson 32 cal. rimfire, Possibly 1861.Is there any way to trace it to the original owner, by the serial #?
