It has been a few years since I kept up with the Minelab Explorers. I currently own a Minelab Explorer XS and also have one for a spare. I went to the Minelab web site and saw they no longer list the Explorer detectors - do they no longer make an Explorer or is the CTX 3030 the replacement for them? What was the last Explore they manufactured?

The Explorer line has been discontinued.
They last model they made was called the SE-Pro.
The CTX is not a replacement to the Explorer line technically it is just the latest high tech. machine for coin and relic hunting made by them.

Also from what I understand Minelab only has parts to support the SE Pro and maybe the Exp 2 but any older version is no longer supported by ML.

That's why I buy non working explorers and horde the parts to repair mine.
