It never warmed up to the 40 degrees forecasted, but at 3pm it got up to 35 with no wind so I took my new Pro to a very trashy concession stand area of a lakeside park. The coil worked great on the modded Pro. I found 28 coins with two wheats in the two hour hunt. All coin were 6 inches or less deep. The two deepest coins turned out to be nickles and since I started looking for the nickle to foil flash, it is turning to be very accurate on the nickles. The small coil with the ability to use a slow sweep is going to be a deadly combination in trash. I also have an Explorer 11, but if the Mr Bill modded Pro was my only detector, I would feel confident that I wasn't leaving too many coins in the ground. When spring rolls around, I will probably keep the small coil on use it for trashy spots. Now that the experts got me straightened out on the nickles, how do find the gold? Thanks all. R.L.
