Quick hunt with new Pistol Probe

Thanks T59,

I'll have to give that a try some time. I guess the thing that I would be most afraid of would be scratching the object, but most targets in that range in my area would be newer clad stuff. So all the better to hone the skill in that range and then go for some deeper stuff.

Hey thanks again!

HH,

Obie

Hey Obie

I use only a screwdriver when I hunt for modern day coins. Check out my YouTube videos showing me popping coins out with a screwdriver (here's an example)

Using a brass shaft on a screwdriver handle gives probing power without the threat of scratching a good coin. You may want to use it when the signal indicates it may be silver...

The Pistol Pro is the only way to go. My partner and I both use the Pistol Prob and swearer by it. TomB

Yes the Pistol Probe is the deepest and I love it for use with my VLF's. But try using it with a Minelab PI detector, it makes it chatter and unusable.
