Hello Friends,
After 3 1/2 years of no metal detecting, land or water, and just having Major Surgery on my lower lumbar, I've decided to give it a go again. I'm new to this forum, because I just purchased my first detector in some time and it's my first ever Whites Detector. I just purchased the Whites Classic IDX w/ stock coil and a second coil, the whites 8 inch coil.
I had 5 disc removed from my spin w/instrumentation and fusion added. I also had the bone removed from the face of the main spinal nerve, from L-1 to L-5 area. I feel much stronger after 3 months of recovery and I'm learning to deal with the little bit of pain that will be with me forever, due to some nerve damage that can't be repaired.
I do feel strong enough to take on some detecting, even if just to get out of the house and enjoy the day at the park or some old colonial era farm stead.....
Water detecting will have to hold on for now.
Some of you may remember me, Tiger Ned, well I'm back....LOL I hope to rekindle some old friendships and share my stories and finds with all here. If your wondering, I was always a Tesoro user in the past, and I also owned the Minelab Explorer II...........I'm excited about this detector though, and really looking forward to spending many a days learning it and enjoying it.
Sincerely,
Tiger Ned
PS: Hope my buddy George in CT. is still around these parts. We talk on the phone still, and he's been a great support to me thru all these past hard years. That's what detecting partners do I guess....Thanks George, your a dear friend.
