Quick question on sensitivity.....

When I am running my modified Coin program, I can see the Sensitivity gauges on the left side of the display. In this mode, the arrows allow me to switch between Auto and manual, and allow me to adjust the levels. When I go into QuickMask to analyze a target more closely, those gauges "go away". (the arrows become control pads for adjusting the Quick Mask) Can I assume that if I am running Auto Sens when I go to QuickMask that it stays at the +/- level I have set in Auto Sens? And, if I am running manual Sens when I go to QuickMask, it stays at the setting I've established manually? I know it always returns to where I left it when I switch back to the Coin program. As such, I have to think it remains constant between modes. But I also want to make sure I'm not missing something. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. HH Randy

Randy yes it does, I cannot say 100% sure but I'm 99.9% that it does. My favorite read is Andy's book on the Explorer and E Trac. I'd have to say a lot to digest but I love being steep on the learning curve. However I do remember something to that effect I'm sure. For some reason I think it locks in where it's at, I'm just before venturing into using quickmask and I'm understanding why reading the ET book.

I have Andy's book and have learned a lot from it. But, I must have overlooked the part on Sensitivity locking (when switching modes) before I loaned the book to my brother. Guess he better hurry up with his reading! Thanks again. HH Randy
