some one posted the other day about how well they did when they first got their xs. they said they started in quickstart with high sensitvity. when i click on quickstart it just goes back to the screen i had last used to detect with. is there a trick to setting up in quickstart. thanks.

I think they are talking about .... when you turn on the machine holding down the start button until it goes into FACTORY setup. Then they added a little sensitivity for more depth. You are hitting the SMARTSCREEN button which like you said moves you from smartscren to digital.

i tried to find the old post but couldn't remember who had made the comment. he said quickstart but he may have meant factory setup. on the screen there's one part that says quickstart and advanced and thats what i thought he was talking about. thanks
