The handles of the knives have a deer design on (possibly) ivory handle. Picture is of a Whitetail deer (I think). Guess I should pay more attention to detail (glad I was trained in observation as a cop hahahahaha).

So I will guess the EDC Treaty in Paris signed Dec 29, 1950----The European Monetary Agreement comes into being as Peace Foundation! (EDC===European Defense Community) Monetary systems have an affect on the whole world!!

Also, here are two more: New law passed Dec 29, 1950, stops companies from buying up stock in other companies limiting monopolies...which could affect the whole world if there was only one company when bought out by all the others!!

Another: Project of the Nuclear Age---The Atomic Energy Act as amended in the Act of December 29, 1950 by Congress!

Well, I know I was only supposed to give one answer but I wanted to show there is a lot of history for December 29, 1950, besides the wonderful birth of a little baby boy we call, Pete, who was born again (?) in Christ Jesus and has a reservation for a bright mansion in heaven, someday!

for the date of your new birth in Christ Jesus and I wasn't questioning whether you were born again. I know the year (1986) I was truly born again, but don't know for sure the actual date that I was and I was water baptised in July, 1986 but not the actual date...I was baptised after church on a Sunday night after dark under the bridge in Newburg, MO in the Little Piney River! Sure was an unforgetable baptism for me...the Lord sure blessed me! But because of the divorce, my physical and emotional illnesses..it's hard to remember the exact dates of anything.

I was saved one night in Feb. 1986,while going through a really sad night in my mom and dad's house, who had both died in 1984. I rec the baptism of the Holy Ghost sometime later during the middle of the night but just don't know the date or month...but think it was in the fall of 1986 or 87...after I was baptised in water...just too much going on at that time!

Most people can remember the date of their being born again, as a new creature in Christ, but I don't! I just know that I am a born again Child of God and I have no doubt about that!!!! So, if you thought I was questioning your being saved...I wasn't! I just didn't know the date you were born again and that's why I put the question mark there! Sorry, if it might have offended you, as that was not my intention at all! If you know the exact date, it would be nice to find out what was going on in the world at the time of your second birth!

While I was in high school I dated my first wife - from another town -
a farmer's daughter. To be with her I went to a small Baptist church and when I was 18 - I think. I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior at that church. They did not have a baptismal tank so arrangements were made to have the water baptism in another town. Both my girfriend and I were water baptised on the same day - May 28, 1969. Later as a security guard another friend told me about receiving the Holy Spirit and so in a small guard shack in the parking lot of a bank he laid hands on me and I received the Holy Spirit and was able to speak in tongues. Something useful being a security guard was being able to discern spirits coming and going from the bank. A lot of people with lots of nasty spirits about them.

DOn;t know the dates except the water baptism. I've seen people get certificates of their baptisms to hang on a wall. I didn't get one. It doesn't bother me to not have one or to know the dates as God knows and I'm in the Book of Life and I don't think God put a date next to my name when it was written because time is not the concern...
whether one is in the Book of Life or not is the concern.

As long as God knows and we know that's all that really matters.

I did wonder about the ? but I think everyone knows I am saved as Christians are known by their fruits (not if they are nuts )

detect very often in the New Year, as I'll have to wait and see....want to get this home ready to sell and to purchase another one if I am able to as it is way too expensive for me to live here now. The area and people are great but taxes way too high and house needs lots of repairs besides what I've already done at a cost of $25,000 plus which is borrowed and paying interest on....but the Lord provides enough for me to meet the payments on each credit card, although I sometimes borrow from Peter to pay Paul....so to speak! So, you see, I do know where you are coming from as I've been struggling for many years just to keep staying in my home.

I, too, speak in other tongues and able to detect the spirits in othere (good or bad) which is a good thing! And when encountering evil spirits you can sure feel their stings when they know you belong to Jesus!

God's blessing to you and yours with much happiness and better health in 2007!
