Can the Racer be used to cherry pick just a certain range of targets like say 82, 83, 84. only.

Not directly. It doesn't have a "notching" feature to do that.

You just have to look at the display and decide to dig only those numbers.
Or you can set the "ID Filter" to 81 to exclude all targets up to that number,
then choose not to dig numbers higher than 84 when they're displayed.
