Racer standard MD question

Does the Racer Standard MD show the depth on the visual screen?
For the life of me I can't find any info.

It does in cm or inches when pinpointing. On the fly the modulated audio and signal strength bar on id chart paint a pitcher for you as far as shallow vs deeper

Thank you for your reply and info. Getting better all the time.
Excited to be taking delivery on my Racer on Wednesday.

Do you find the PP and depth numbers to be fairly accurate?

Yes, BUT you have to remember that the depth is calibrated for a one-inch coin,
which is the size of a U.S. quarter. So you have to mentally adjust the number
for a different sized coin.

For example, if you get an ID of 84, that's typically a dime or copper penny (not zinc).
But that's smaller than a quarter, so if the depth is shown as three inches, it's probably
only one or two inches deep.

Even so, the depth is only an estimate. Once in a while it's not very close to accurate,
but generally I've found it to be fairly close.

Thanks TallTom. I didn't know that, so I do now. Very important.
