Rain dust cover tip

I posted a question a few days ago about where to get the black rain / dust covers that have the minelab logo on the side of them. Well, someone on this forum told me where he thought I could get one. I called the place that sold them online and bought one. I received it today. Let me just say this better quality one makes the biggest difference in the screen glare. I had one of those cheap velcro ones on it before and it was a pain. I paid $16.00 total for this thing and well worth it. I would urge everyone who doesn't have one to get one. Not to mention it looks alot nicer with a lot tighter fit.......Aaron

I wasn't sure if I should do that in the original post or not because I didn't get it from one of the sponsors of this forum. I don't want to step on anyones toes. Click on one of the sponsors banners. I am sure one of them carry it.......Aaron

Are you saying that you got the Minelab branded cover or some other cover made by another company?
I just ordered a rain cover from a dealer; the XS rain cover made by Minelab.

Just to make sure that it is watertight. Mine leaked just a little bit of water onto the faceplate & I had to send the machine for repair. Since then I've soaked the cover with Scotchguard to make doubly sure that there are no leaks.
