Rain & Dust Cover

I would like to protect my investment and purchase a good rain and dust cover set for my 3030, problem is I'm not finding any made in the US. Does anyone have any info and pics of what they are using? There are some sets on E-bay that look pretty good, but I'm not sure about ordering from international sellers. Any advice and info appreciated!

The one that I tried glared so bad it interfered with the screen's visibility.

I ended up used a wet type screen protector only. I suppose you could get the covers and cut out the screen part.....

I use Pro-Tector on mine...love them. I have them for the CTX and ETrac. There are some metal detecting sites that sell them.

When i first got my ctx, i bought something called the screen and touchpad protector with a sun visor. Used it one day and immediately took it off and sold it on ebay. The sun visor was useless and the protector would not fit properly on the head leaving a wrinkled plastic on the keypad which made it impossible to see the keys. I went to my big box store and bought an ipad screen protector which i cut to fit the whole head. It worked perfectly and even has an anti-glare coating which helps in bright sunlight.

Where did you get yours BarberDan? Those are the ones I was looking at, but have only found them through E-bay international sellers. Have you found them in the US?

I made the same mistake chuckciao, I've got the ipad protectors at home, I'll give that a try. For the full protection of the machine, I like the looks of the pro-tector covers, if I can find someone in the US that carries them.

I too use Pro-Tector on mine and love them. Those look alot like Pro-Tector.
