rain held off and I made it to the farm house

did not find anything super but it was a good day digging, I gave up after awhile because the wind was so strong it was simply difficult to detect.

I told myself I would dig all "iffy signals" so to not miss any goodies well most of them were junk....lol

Just look at my junk digs. I managed to pull out 2 wheats 1951, 1919, a canadian penny 1963, that looks like it was dropped the day it was minted. The tire gauge is interesting it is dated 1909, the jar lid is neat, most of them I have seen are plain white glass and this one has some design and writing on it.

Very cool! Ya done good! :)

wow, thats a cool looking shell casing!!! Greay job on the finds!!!

that is an antique tire gauge :crylol:

Very nice finds Goes4ever! I like the white glass jar insert....Never seen one with a design like that and I've seen plenty when helping my mother can vegs, fruit and so forth! Like the tire guage too and the patina on your wheaties is neat and the dates old plus the great condition of the Canadian Cent! I'll say you did good in finding the oldies and also the junk! But have to dig the junk to find the goodies!

God Bless!

Good job Mr. T! Looks like you found your fair share of junk.....but! you found some interesting "Goodies" also! Out of all the ball jar lids I've found.........I don't EVER remember finding a neat one like that? And I've foung pleanty of ball jar lids! No jars of money on the other end.....just lids(Bummer!) I found 57 ball jar lids in one hole once!:surprised: I finally put down the detector and just started reachin' in up to my elbo and pullin'em out! At the price of ZINC these days.....I'm glad I saved them!:lmfao: That tire gauge looks pretty cool to! Looks loke a 30 cal. bullet from the picture! I wonder if that was what they were going for? Looks like it was probably from war times maybe?
