There was a lot of rolling thunder in the Northwest and then we had large drops of rain and then a slower one, so the ground is wet again! Hope you get some rain in your area, Mike, and then you can detect both the land and water! Ya always do good no matter what! So go get the goodies and hope it didn't rain on your picnic and parade, today! :rolleyes: :blink: :)

we had our rain yesterday today is beatiful out. cant go detecting though. i have no one to watch chris. i did get out for bout 5 min and got half a brass/silver plated spoon with the date 1877 on the back.
 
Got out to the park today; clads, but I requested and received permission to hunt on a adjacent Marina property..will be heading there tomorrow to see what's what at the Marina at low tide.
 
its only half there. there rest is corroded away. not worth anything but its cool. good luck with the marina. that should be a fun hunt.
 
Lorraine, it is lightning, thundering and raining out of the NW right now and storm and tornado warnings are all the way to Southeast MO. Have a tornado watch around the Rolla area where my sister lives and in Dent and Reynolds Counties and others! So please pray for us here in MO that we escape harm to bodies and buildings! Just read on the Internet that China had another aftershock of a 6.0 which has killed one; injured 264 and $71,000 worth of property value damaged.....all this on top of the big Quake they had in early May and with lots of aftershocks! Must really be scary for them to have to have shocks so often with all the damage from the main earthquake! But the Book of Revelation is being fulfilled with more earthquakes in different places! Tornadoes and storms in the Midwest, the South and on up into the North! God have mercy upon us all!

But it is coming for Monday. Will likely hit the parades and picnics.
 
Hi everyone! It stormed off and on most of last night and poured in the early morning! I didn't hear it but it woke Cliff up and he said it really did come down hard! Lots of lightning and thunder, too! It is half-sunny out right now, but may rain some more! The smaller black birds are sure getting their fill of worms and bugs, as the earthworms are coming to the top because of the ground being so wet again! Lots of them in the Common Ground with water forming two small ponds yet! It usually disappears within a few hours! Would be nice digging in a couple of days of sunshine, but Ma still isn't up to par to go out swinging and digging! Picnics are going on at the schools and will make nice :detecting: also! Oh well, I did my share for many years and I am blessed with lots of good finds....though not the big diamonds or gold coins! But there'll be lots of gold in heaven with my mansion shining gloriously! :angel:
