Rain-Rain GO AWAY

Hillbilly Bob

New member
Planed on going detecting today, got my yard mowed yesterday after work so I would have the day to myself. It was sunny all week got up this morning it was a little cloudy thought this will be nice having a good cloud cover makes for a cool day the forecast said 20% chance for rain. Loaded my detector up started out and guess what, a big clap of thunder and down it came it's been raining hard for an hour now I don't think it's going to let up for a while. Man this is the fourth weekend in a row !! Rain - rain - go - away :rage::rant:

n/t

Nancy, I would love to send the rain your way it just wont listen to me. This has been the wettest August that I can remember most of the time it's hot and dry this time of the year. If I was to get out and found a target, I would not have to dig it, just stomp the wet ground next to it and it would pop out.

STILL RAINING

I've got some boots if you need to barrow them. Just think after the rains are done......You'll be getting some good strong signals. We've had some rain here the past day or two, but not much and it's been over 22 days without rain here and it's still very dry. Still too dry to hunt private properties. We can wait, but it's hard. Besides being dry, it's hot and HUMID too! Guess if everything was perfect, we wouldn't have anything to complain about. :poke::angel: HH to all (if you can), Nancy

Its the opposite out here in Cali. We havent seen rain since March. thats pretty normal out here. Makes it tough to dig just anywhere though!!!

Jim, You should have asked the Rain God a.k.a. Hillbilly Bob to send some your way. I did and we've got two full ponds and lower temps. Thanks Bob!!!! :) We'll be out tomorrow playing in the soil.
Hope to see what others have found. HH to all, Nancy

Well it's not raining here today, I prayed it right up to Nancy.:please: I will put a good word in for you guys to Jim. I'm going detecting :clapping::detecting:

Gosh, we haven't had any real rain for a long time. Just got new (to me) MXT and need an air hammer to dig.
We'll take some of your rain now if you can take it back in a few months.

LOL on the air hammer Greydigger!! Maybe that will work out here!! Ive seen a bunch of areas I would love to detect but no chance on getting a shovel or knife into the ground without hurting myself!

MAN, I feel sorry for you guys. Our ground is so wet I need snow shoes just to walk around. and a fishing pole to retrieve targets.
