Ralph, are the X-1 probes for the XS and the Ex[plorer II identical?

Can I use a probe that was intended for and used on an XS on my Explorer II?

I have the XS and the Explorer II and my X-1 probe works great on either one.

The XS and the XS II upper shafts are different and if you try to use the XS shaft on the XS II you will possibly damage the upper shaft locking set up. If you have a XS II use a XS II upper shaft, but the probe itself is the same, just the shaft is different.
