Rampage in the woods!:fisher:

I went on a digging rampage this morning and dug 40 keeper coins and curio targets. And glory be, 4 were silver coins. The money clip was the 1st keeper right from the end of a rotted log and that was followed pretty quickly by the key. About an hour into the hunt I hit the 35d Washington quarter a foot or so out from a down tree and on the other side of that same tree I dug the 4 Kodak canisters. 3 from one hole and the 4th several feet away. I haven't been able to get them open yet, rusted shut, but I suspect each contains a roll of $100.00 bills. Ya, right! They id'ed like clad quarters. Dug quite a few cents, but not one a wheatie. The 2 Mercury dimes., 17s and 37d, were in the same hole and scoop of dirt. About 10' away from them I got the 51d Rosie. Ran into a pair of brown loafers. They had been there a while as they had green growth growing in and on them. The silver looking token is actually a Franklin Pierce, 14th Presidential coin. All in all, a good hunt. You folks up north, spring is coming......sometime. F 75 LTD HH jim tn

Nothing jingles in the canisters, but they have a little heft to them. Like maybe soggy film????? or rolled up hundreds. I once found a plastic film container that had 3 silver dimes in it. Mud, these loafers were slip on shoes. Someone departed the spot in a hurry and left their shoes behind. HH jim tn

Jim, Your the Man! Lot of great stuff there . Keep up the good work so that we can keep dreaming of the spring thaw . Ezra.

I've sprayed each a couple of times with some Lock Ez. If that doesn't work, I'll carefully cut them open tomorrow. HH jim tn

Yeah we cant wait! Its like Christmas in February! so you found a pair of loafers and a zippo lighter? Maybe somebody in that park was "lighten the loafers?"

LOl Hurry up and open those canisters Jim.

Here is one of the film canisters opened. The other 3 are the same. All un-used film, except for being toasted. It was fun thinking about the possibilities, though. HH jim tn

I was sure hoping there would be something extra special in there for you.
