Rampage in the woods, reversed.:fisher:

Well, I got rampaged this morning. Got to the parking spot and getting gear out for heading into the woods and realized I again forgot my camera. Got into the woods and remembered detector batters were down to the last bar yesterday and I had set my spares on the floor beside my ditty bag to replace them before leaving. Of course, I didn't, and the spares were still setting on the floor. Went back to finish detecting the patch that had been pretty target rich yesterday, but after about an hour I realized I had pretty much cleaned it out yesterday. A couple pieces of trash and 1 Memorial was it. Moved off to another area and got lucky. Dug a couple of tokens and then got the 17d Mercury dime. Had a 17s yesterday. Swung a little longer watching the last battery bar come and go and decided I was probably fortunate to have gotten what I got and called it a wrap. Weather doesn't sound to great for tomorrow. Got some yankee weather moving down. F 75 LTD. HH jim tn

I think Elton was speaking of the silver disk to the right of the dirt-filled bottle cap. It is stamped with something. Is that your token? What does it say?

Jim ,You know what they say about fishing .... a bad day fishing is still better than a days work! I believe that saying applies to metal detecting too ! Ezra.

I'm pretty sure you would still find a silver half with no batterys at all the way its been going for you this year!

Elton thought it looked like something good, too, so I went to the trash bag and recovered it for the 2nd time today. It is just some sort of cap and does have DEX 5 % on it. The reverse has some spongy stuff intact. HH jim tn
