[size=large] The above statement with this photo in the news paper is not true and is typical of tree hugger leftist mentality. Global warming has nothing to do with bears eating bears; all male bears and many other species of male animals will kill the young of their own species for food and sometimes to make the female childless so she will reproduce again with him. Has nothing to do with global warming whatsoever; there is not "cannibalism" among animals; fish eat fish, snakes eat snakes, birds eat birds, a carnivores eat meat, doesn't matter what it is. Articles like this just drive me up the wall, and the bad thing is 70% of the population will believe it.

I think your estimate of 70% is to low. More like 85% to 90% of the people will believe this and other such nonsense. Our local paper ran a "letter to the editor" from a lady that was incensed with deer and elk hunters and in it she made this brilliant statement, "Shame on you mister hunter, if you want meat why don't you go to the grocery store where they make it and buy it? That way no animals are ever harmed!" Sadly this way of thinking is way to prevalent in an alarming percentage of society. Ed in co.
