Put the Under Armour on and headed to the woodlands site with the temp being a balmy 24 with a wind chill factor of 15. Not to fear! The Omega was smoking! No silver and the closest thing to gold was a 18k g p ring that rang up in the 60's, but did dig some targets. Also along the jewelry line got what appears to be the outer ring of a big pocket watch. But that is just a guess. One outer edge has some ornate design. Did hit a 1903 IH and 2 toasted no date buffalo nickels and 3 wheats, 37, 45 and 47d, as far as older coins go. Also dug a big 3 ring mini which came in in the zinc range, couple pieces of lead and some shot gun shell brass and some clad, no value tokens and Memorial cents and zincers. I am not sure the last time, if ever, that I've dug 28 keeper targets on this site. 10 or so seems to be more the norm. I had on the 10" concentric coil, running with sen of 99, disc 1, d4 tones and a g b of 58-61. Stay warm, everyone. HH jim tn
