I was down there, before my mom passed away! We had a lot of fun that day and could hunt the beaches until midnight! The beaches were lit up, but you could only park for two hours at a time! I found a nice medallion near the stone fence! Will try to locate it and post a pic of it.
While I was hunting....I kept finding pennies! I finally looked up and realized there were a bunch of motorcyclists sitting on the fence and they were throwing the pennies out for me to find and were having a good old time doing it. They laughed when I said something about it and then I said, My brother and I need quarters to feed the parking meter, so toss some of those. Each one looked at the other and asked do you have a quarter? Each one said no, no quarters! I thought they were really great guys for a motorcycle gang! Later, as we were leaving, is when I found the $1.00 size medallion and since it was dark by then, I thought it was a silver dollar! But it wasn't although it had a beazel around it!
So, I hope you and Nancy have a great time and find some really nice coins & STUFF!
