The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Hey Larry,

Found a 6" black Mini Mag Flash light about 5 inches down still working perfectly. Found it out there in the dunes yesterday where they camp.

Have you had any luck finding rings out there? I keep hoping, you never know... I'm headed out there this morning. Loving it :detecting:
 
Ya know the only great jewelry that I have found in the dunes over the years is that ladys diamond encrusted Rolex I found last Feb and over the course of the last 10 years maybe a bracelet or cheap ring.
I get more tools, coins and falling off beach buggy parts when hunting in the dunes. The cut from pole 2 to pole 6 seems to give up more of the good stuff, where as the further into the dunes you get the quality goes down....that not to say it ain't there it is just you have 65,000 acres of dunes to hunt and that is a lot of swinging.
Most of my rings and good stuff come from the surf /low tide line, 1/2 mile either side of the Pismo Pier or Avila.
 
Hey Larry,

i went down to the Pismo Pier with my Sovereign from 3:30 to 5:15 and found several coins and one silver cross with Jesus on it. Has a date "May 2004" and "AD LIMINA" and "P.P. John Paul II" and "Italy" / It is about 1 3/4" tall. It is very thin and light. Might not be silver... I don't know... Also found 1 1940 Wheat penny in great condition. That was a shocker. I learned to slow my sweep way down and find more. I am LOVING it! To bad the low tides are coming up at night these days. Going to need to do some night detecting but don't really want to do that alone...
 
Since this has been moved to feedback ... Larry, wish you a quick and full recovery! The scoop I bought from you earlier in the year (excellent transaction) has now recovered a fair amount of silver and gold on the east coast! I think you gave the scoop some good karma!
