It was slowing down as I hit the hunted out sections looking for strays, when all of a sudden, they began popping up, and my belly went down 4 inches in a week... I was lucky becasue I got 4 silver dimes in the same hole along with two clad dimes mixed in, how that happen is beyond me, because the clads were from the 80's, mercs and roise are from the 40's...

Two days later I get these below after a lot of digging

Today, I hit an old tree before a trail and out popped three mercs and a rosie, then I hit another area where I got a barber quarter before, and to my surprise... a walker, a standing lib. and another two merc. I thank the Lord for this park with its abundant amount of silver... truly living up to the name I gave it... SILVERADO. Two Rings, one seems to be copper with either enamel or some kind of material with a funny design of a what looks like a funny dragon, the other ring must by very old, came in like silver and has three gem stones on top, does any one recognize the style? Well. I'll be out tomorrow and see what else I can bring to light... Take care everyone.

That site will never be cleaned out! :)

Great Job Philo..
Just goes to show that you don't always get them all the 1st time.
Our Nugget Hunting Trips are the same way. We go back to known productive sites, hunt hard, keep the Coil to the Soil and Swing it Slow.
It only takes a couple finds to put a smile on the face.

Thanks for Sharing.

Swing It Slow & Keep it Low..The Only Way to Go.

Glad to see you post! Hope you stick around! God bless! :)

do you use an Explorer? I have heard many people wonder how nugget hunting is done with an Explorer...maybe they mean what settings do nugget hunters use to find gold nuggets.

Again, welcome to the forum Gerry.

Thanks for the kind Welcome.

Yes I do use an Explorer, but not for Nugget Hunting.
I do have customers who have used and found Nuggets with an Explorer.
I'll try and find one of the photos and post it on here for you.

We'll try to be a Sponsor for a Year on the FindMall and see what the sales do.

Philo, Sure you can use it...Just mention Gerry from Idaho.
I came up with that phrase about 20 years ago.

Swing it Slow & Keep it Low..Thats the Only way to Go.

Let us know what the busines name is, so we can watch for it! :)
