Re: Land Ranger Pro 5" f5 coil

My lrp with the 5 inch coil seems to air test as deep as my t2 classic with the 5 inch coil. What do you guys with the lrp think of it? I really like both. If i had to pick it would be the t2 but the lrp really seems to take care of business. Also if you had to choose what would your choice be? Thank you for any ideas or thoughts.

I have both with 5in DD coils....and would pick the T2 in most scenarios. The LRP is one of my all-time favorite machines and I love using it. But it is no T2...especially in bad dirt.

I can say the LRP will pass some certain elevated (and level) nail tests the T2 cannot. It would probably be my choice hunting nickels in a modern park due to having notch and Vbreak.

LRP also does quite well on the beach. Can balance down to 0 (salt) and is very quiet. Hits a buried 7 inch nickel no problem in wet beach sand.

Probably one of the most underrated detectors ever for the $250 price it usually goes for.
