a Conn. Copper, circa 1786 or 1788. It was found not far from the site where my hunting buddy found the 5 pounded (Cannon Ball) This is the route and area where Gen. Glover had a skirmish with the British as Washington fled to New Rochelle to join forces with other generals. They say it was a turning point in the war... 4,000 troops marched up Shore Road towards New Rochelle. Thanks for looking...God bless and HH, I'll be returning tomorrow to see if any more goodies like this one is tucked away somewhere.
