Had A very good year... Dug a lot of firsts and a lot of Silver, both large and small. Most Silver finds came with the SE Pro, starting with a Tri-Fector of Quarters... A 1854 Seated Lib. 1901 Barber, no mint mark, and a standing Liberty. Always thanking the Lord for each find that I dig...

Here's the cherry on the top... a 1911... 2 1/2 dollar Indian head gold piece. Only signal by a large tree in a hunted out park... go figure, but there was a lot of iron in the hole.

Love the Crotel Bells and play different pitches..

Some silver were in upwards of 10 to 13" inches deep, and many were under roots, so you know the struggle that one has to go through to dig'em without damaging them... Hope you enjoyed my finds as much as I had digging for them... May you find your hearts desire this coming year...HH.

:usaflag:Holy Buckets!! I'd say you had a good year....nice finds !

I'd be happy if I found a fraction of that kind of loot just in the next 3yrs! Did you find all that bling with the SE?
I bet that gold coin almost put you in cardiac arrest!
Thanks for the pics, I'm ashamed to post mine.
Congrats, Aaron

Those are real sweet finds.I saw that old Quarter trifecta and some of the other stuff being dug,Philo is like a machine out there, especially given his age(which I can say since I'm older),he just never stops detecting.Let's hope that 15" of snow melts soon so we can get out.

Wow!! Fantastic year for you!!

Sure looks shiny!! :yikes: And with that gold coin, you couldn't have asked for a better year!!

Congrats!! Hope next year will be as good!!

Awesome year congrats on all the awesome digs!

About 3/4 of the finds are with the SE Pro with the 7 inch & Butterfly Pro Stock coils. Others finds were with an Explorer II. I was out there in the hunting grounds a lot, three four days a week, and I hunt in parks that saw a lot of action people wise, and where people have used those parks, the finds are plenty full if you slow down and willing to move stuff around.

I'd say that you had a very good year and the gold coin is the heart stopper that we all would like to find some day.:clapping: Nice going and HH & GL in 2011.

Philo,

That pile officially qualifies as a grundle of silver coins and a very nice quantity of bigger silver, that for me, is getting harder to find.

And the $2 1/2 dollar GP is the best. Nice group of finds with that. I remember reading that earlier in the year when first posted.

Congrats and best wishes for the next year.
