Ring Bearer, your 9000's are covered by a lifetime warranty. Send them, plus a check for $6.00 for return postage, to Koss Corp., 4129 N. Port washington Ave., Milwaukee WI 53212, with a short letter explaining the problem. They will repair, or replace them. Hope this helps; HH jim
