Perhaps if you explained the iron volume setting with video , it would help many that overlook a feature they believe only raises the volume .

I suspect many will use a zero setting, not a good idea .....but perhaps that more important with the smaller thinner ancient coins we tend to be looking for in the uk,
A zero setting can mask the signal from a deeper thin silver coin, raising the iron volume to 1 will combat this.

This can also be the case if audio response is set to high, high audio bleeding from mineralisation iron can mask a deeper silver target
