Received a blessing today.......Praise God and Thank You, Jesus! ......

My friend, Liz, called and told me she was sending me a package and that she paid for my club dues for a year from July, 05 to July, 06. I had quit paying in 2002 because I couldn't attend the meetings because of driving I-70, a terror, especially at night. The meeting is in North County and I live in South County, so a long drive for me!

I might be able to attend our annual club hunt in Sept and get to enjoy meeting my long-time friends and some new ones. The club hunt is south of me, so not so far for me to travel and will be daytime!

The Lord is good and now I'll be receiving the monthly newsletters by mail!

Is n't God Goooooooood? I really feel blessed, as she lives on a limited income too! But does receive a little more per month and has less payments, as her home is paid for! She is a friend and I thank my Lord for friends!!

but she lives north and I live south so neither one of us is near the other! She is almost 78 years young and doesn't treasure hunt any longer except at the club hunts and that's why she paid my dues so I could attend the annual club hunt and we could see each other again....so pray that I won't be sick or that's it's not raining then! Thank you for all prayers!

She wins silver rounds and silver dollars at the club meetings quite often and even has won the 50/50 a few times! Here's a story about how lucky or blessed my friend is:

One time she was getting ready to hunt and while tuning her detector, she sit the coil down right on a nice gold ring.....She has found many in her younger days and found nice things during the club hunts and wins prizes too! Wish some of that luck would rub onto me!
