Recent Hunt and a Quick Question

Hi everyone,
Hope you’re all doing well. I got out for a short hunt this week and had a pretty good day — found a small silver ring, an old-looking brass button, and the usual modern coins. Nothing crazy, but it was a nice, relaxing hunt and I’m thankful for it.
I’m mainly posting because I’m trying to figure out more about the brass button. I’m not sure if it’s older or just something modern that looks aged. If anyone has experience identifying buttons or can point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it.

Also, if you have any general tips for researching good spots to hunt (public or private), I’m all ears.
