This is some of the recent things ive found. Yep thats a 1858 Flying Eagle... the other is a Montreal Bank Token. There is a copper play money and some 925 jewerly. The other photo has some flat buttons, old marble that has the painting on the outside as apposed to how they do it now, One of the suspender holders says March 1871, That bust appears to have come off a small ship, its covers brass. The bullets have rifleing but are large id say from a black powder gun.... maybe 50 cal.

Me and another guy from the club have found these. This one was found with a large link chain connected to both side thru the hole. The chain was big enough to go around a very large cow. I found it beside an old salt block holder. Never new farmers to put these on animals just because they would tear them off. Normally they brand or ear tag them. Anyone elce got an answer? Its solid brass and a heavy. Of course maybe the cow had been to Vegas.....

Hi Dew,
Amazing your getting out such tiney button targets...is there some discrimination or are they hitting in the coin areas?

good luck

That's also the first time I heard of cows possibly wearing necklaces with id tags. I found a similar sized and numbered tag, but maybe not as thick, that turned out to be an old telephone phone marker. Who knows.....maybe those cows have secret lives in Vegas.

Don't look like junk to me Nice Finds Dewcon. I found an old suspender holder about like yours. It has Pat 1856 on it. Good Luck & HH

Im hunting in AM Ferr just because i want to know when im out of the kill zone and Ferr reduces the high tones. I tried hunting in disc, but you just cant tell where the junk ends properly and you tend to be out of target range before you realize it. Those buttons show up lower mid screen below pull tabs or around close to the 2 cent range (7-23/26). In open ground the SE with the SEF bangs really well and its like beach hunting you dig most cond targets. Thanks Bryce... i just picked up a trashy large cent, a 2 cent, and two IHs along with more RR buttons. Im finding several pieces and bits of those suspender holders. Must have replaced a lot of those. Any marble guys on here? This looks like a good find its just not like most of the marbles ive found.
