Recognizing coils

Just courious , I have a xtera 70 and love it .
Are there other brands detectors on the market that talk back and forth to the coils and automatically recognize the different coils on the unit like the Xtera units do.
 
SmartCoil™ technology is exclusive to Minelab. So even if there are other manufacturers that have machines that communicate with the coil, they don't do it the same way.
 
Ok thanks I’m glad to hear that . I was just courious. I like my Xtera 70:and have no plans on ever replacing it unless it would be the 705
