Since the weather is so lousy here in Pa
Ive been doing some research and reading other books.
The roads were clear enuff to get out for a while so I went
to a local book store ..found what i thoguth was
a pretty good book..
The Urban Treasure Hunter By Michael Chaplan

It has some info i had already but theres a lot of
good info that i found helpfull and hope to put to
use soon.....

Its an easy read and at least for me it was
a good book to learn more about :detecting:
as well as other types of treasure hunting

Sounds like a good book. I just reserved it online from my local library. I need some new material. I'm re-reading my back issues of L.T. because I'm so snow bound bored!

I dig with a K-Bar marine knife. I got the idea after reading this book. Chaplan mentions looking tough while digging around dodgy characters in urban settings. Anyone with a K-Bar in their hand you leave alone. Has always worked for me and the 7 inch blade is perfect for taking plugs out of lawns. Bought mine 15 years ago new for 30 dollars.

I have also read that book and it is a good book. I wish UW would write a book. He has probably forgotten more than I will ever know about MD'ing!:garrett:

Great book!:thumbup:Read it years ago and you guys are makin' me want to read it again. It's been a while.
I agree, I bet Uncle Willy could really write a great book! I'd add it to my collection.:biggrin:Happy Hunting!:)

P.S.
You guys know Andy Sabisch has a new book comin' out later this month. I'm gonna get that one, too!
