I have been a subscriber to an online help column - published weekly - for many years now. It's about 45 bux per year and titled "Mr Modem". He gives lots of help, talks about the latest things and is prompt in replying to questions. He also has a libray of the past 9 years worth of info to solve your problems.

My objectives from day one included providing helpful computer and Internet information in an easy-to-understand, friendly, intelligent and occasionally entertaining format. Some critics suggest it is "entertaining and occasionally intelligent." Close enough.
It was also my objective to create a kinder, gentler corner of the Internet as a "safe-harbor," where subscribers would be welcome to ask questions in an environment in which no question would be considered too basic, too silly, or too stupid, where every inquiry would receive a prompt, personal response, and where everyone would be treated with dignity and respect at all times.
